Saving the Rainforest!

Last month, members of Mrs. Rickerson’s 2nd grade W.I.N. group raised enough money to purchase an acre of rainforest from The Nature Conservancy for conservation and protection. We chose to save an acre of the Osa Peninsula, which is off the western coast of Costa Rica. The company was so grateful for our donation that they called us in person to thank us!
